The evening of Saturday 2nd June saw the start of the Great Gidding Diamond Jubilee weekend celebrations with a dinner dance at the Village Hall. The Village Hall, transformed into a 50’s night club, was unrecognisable. With music provided by the Five Star Swing band, villagers were soon taking to the dance floor for a nostalgic waltz, box step or (a more lively) jitterbug!
Thanks to all the villagers who organised the event – the standard was supurb – the bar has been raised!
