The farmhouse shown here was built about 1900
and lasted about 60 years before being demolished. The census returns
show that the site of Mill Farm was inhabited by the Wyman, Brawn
and Farrington families. At the time of the 1641 map it was owned
by John Lamb, whose name is inscribed in a roof beam in the Church,
before being sold to the Lord of the Manor.
