Main Street East 22

Manor Farmhouse was never part of Manor Farm, which was across the road. It was occupied by blacksmiths from at least the mid 18th century. Nicholas Mann, then the Peers family from before 1780 to 1840, then James Richards, the Bradshaws from before 1870 to after 1900 and the Yeomans all lived and worked here. When in the 19th century the present house was built is not known.
