Photo 9. The Archaeologists determined that the settlement dated from the Late Iron age to the beginning of the Roman period. 1st Century B.C to 2nd Century A.D. Further settlements were unearthed in the Parishes of Winwick and Old Weston. The artefacts unearthed were returned to the respective land owners.
