Sawtry burglaries

There have been a recent spate of burglaries in Sawtry and the police are advising everyone to be vigilant.

Car Crime in Sawtry.


Please be aware that we have seen an increase in vehicle crime within Sawtry between 6th – 7th November.  Four vans that were parked in Sawtry; Deer Park Road, Newton Road & Fen Lane have all been entered by unknown offenders, 3 of these vehicles have had a number of power tools stolen.

Please remain vigilant, you can report anything suspicious to us on 101. 

Burglary in Huntings Drive.

A dwelling burglary has been report this morning as follows: -

Between 9.50am & 8.30pm on 06/11/2014 a house in Huntings Drive, Sawtry was entered by offender(s) braking glass in a rear window. A search of the premises was made and a quantity of jewellery stolen.

If you saw or heard anything suspicious in these areas during the above times, an unusual vehicle or people wandering about please call us on our non-emergency number 101.

Burglary today 8th November 2014

A burglary was reported today in the Church Street, Sawtry. This occurred between 10:00 and 13:33. Offender(s) have entered a property by forcing a rear patio door. It is not known at this time what has been taken.
