Our friendly, informal group meet once a month in Great Gidding Village Hall for two hours to sketch or paint a still life or figure. All welcome (not just Gidding-ites)!




The sessions are untutored but we do a couple of short drawing exercises followed by a longer drawing session and help and advice will be freely available. All you will need to bring is a sketchbook and pencil or your chosen materials.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

Cambs County Council were unable to complete roadworks that were planned at the end of last year. The revised date for the work is Monday 20th January between 8am and 4pm. Vehicular access will be restricted and signs for the diversion route will be in place for through traffic.

Local pictures by local people for our Hall. It can be a building, a view, a church in fact virtually anything.
All entries should be sent by 11th January 2025:
- Maximum of 3 photos per person
- No cost to enter
- We can only accept digital photos
- Submit entries via email to pahargrave@icloud.com or if it’s a big file (over 3MB) we can guide you to use WeTransfer.com (ring 07775 711514)
- The winning 3 photographs will be framed and hung in the Village Hall
- All other entries will be put into a collage, framed and also hung.

The village are invited to attend a coffee morning with cake, raffle, chatter and hopefully good cheer, to vote on their favourite 3 photographs.
