The history of these twin cottages (fore-ground
on the right) from the time of the 1641 map is described on the
Giddings website. The core of the cottages is probably one of the
oldest
of the village. It was a wheel-wrights from 1870 until 2000, first
with the Austin family and then the Faulkners.
