Our friendly, informal group meet once a month in Great Gidding Village Hall for two hours to sketch or paint a still life or figure. All welcome (not just Gidding-ites)!
The sessions are untutored but we do a couple of short drawing exercises followed by a longer drawing session and help and advice will be freely available. All you will need to bring is a sketchbook and pencil or your chosen materials.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

Phil Spring and his brother Dan are promoting a book about their father Albert Spring who was a game keeper in Hamerton after WWII.
Albert spent all his life in Winwick and the surrounding area apart from when he was involved in the second world war.
Phil and Dan would be delighted if you can attend Winwick Village Hall between 11.30 and 2.30 on Saturday 14th September where they will be promoting the book “No Ordinary Man”
The Giddings Village Hall Committee are planning a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
There’ll be cakes, cuppas, the chance to chat, and a raffle – all to raise funds to support people living with cancer.
