Anglian Water will be carrying out work in Main Street on 18th September to 20th September 2024 and the road will be closed. Signs will be in place with diversion routes.
On Thursday 15th August, Robert Burton will be performing a saxophone recital in St. Andrew’s Church. Kimbolton. This will be like no other recital you’ve been to – he will share stories from his musical journey so far, and perform pieces which have been significant to him along the way. From starting playing at Spaldwick primary school, through to his BBC Young Musician success and studies at the Royal Academy of Music, this 1-hour performance will span pop, jazz, classical and contemporary music – something for everyone!

Just a reminder to come along to our friendly, informal group this Thursday 18th July for two hours to sketch or paint a still life. All you will need to bring is a sketchbook and pencil or your chosen materials.
This session there will be a couple of simple exercises as well as longer drawing sessions and as always help and advice will be freely available.
When: Thursday 18th July from 10am until midday. If you’re not able to join us this time the next session is Thursday 8th August.

After an enjoyable first weekend blessed with good weather and a constant stream of visitors from across the Peterborough area, the Gidding Group of artists are looking forward to an exciting second weekend.

Visit Carry Akroyd and Gordon Monk at their studios at No 4 Luddington in the Brook where there will also be afternoon teas served in their beautiful garden. After that you’ll be able to wander over to Saint Margaret’s Church to see the first joint exhibition by the Gidding Group which includes Great Gidding artists Paul-Joseph Crank, Krystyna Wojcik, Sue Jarvis and Geoff Goddard alongside leatherwork by Thurning craftsman Justin Capp.

Bringing you the very finest in light musical entertainment, playing a toe-tapping selection of your favourite melodies from times gone by, as well as original tunes inspired by a bygone age.
Bring a chair, some ‘fizz’ and nibbles and enjoy an indoor picnic in this wonderful building on Midsummer evening.
