- 48 Main Street, previuosly rather overgrown. Now subject to a planning application.

- A look behind the street screen

- A sure sign of Spring and warmer days.
- The Fox & Hounds looking very smart these days.
- The patching gang have been busy but problems with water and drainage are still a concern to parishioners.

March 2014
- For sale sign outside what was once a bakery and a shop run by the Hoskins family as remembered by your correspondent.
- New street light lamps are the order of the day for Great Gidding.
- A planned power outage recently allowed for three infrastructure jobs to be completed around the village to bolster the electricity supply grid.
- The Village Hall was recently used as a fueling stop for a charity cycle event. All useful income for this under used facility.
- Be prepared for a diversion if your heading into Northamptonshire from Gt Gidding. Road repairs in late March are planned.
- The scaffolding has been removed to reveal the renovation work that has been going on through the winter.
February / March 2104
- A good days work done when the pond was cleaned out, yes the road still floods a bit but an excellent natural habitat given new life.
- Despite dreadful conditions the brickies are forging ahead with the three new properties on Main Street.
- Another building project severely blighted by poor weather conditions over the last few months
- Next weeks beer has been delivered to the pub. Hopefully it JHB or Inferno
- Not only a water leak but a nifty chicane has been inserted by the addition of a skip left prominently on the Queen’s Highway !
- The weather and age has taken its toll on the village sign, any one want to repair it?
