The Carol Service at St Michael’s Church takes place on Saturday 20th December starting at 6pm.

This year the format will be slightly different. Whilst we hear the biblical account of Jesus’s birth, the visit of the shepherds and the wise men, we shall also hear secular readings inspired by the spirit of Christmas. Something new this year – a group of children from the village will perform Christmas music on handbells. If that isn’t enough then everyone will have the chance to sing their favourite carols. Afterwards there will be mince pies and mulled wine. All this bathed in candlelight.

Our Midnight Eucharist starts in church at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve.
