Covid Booster Vaccinations
Thank you to all those pts who chose to attend one of our practice based Covid/Flu clinics. If you are eligible and still need to have your covid booster, please contact 119 or go online at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/ to book an appointment.
Annual Flu Vaccinations
If you are eligible for flu vaccination but have not yet had yours, please contact us on 01487 830340 to book an appointment with one of our practice nursing team.
Additional Appointments Available for Our Patients
At the time of writing this, the first weekend of out of hours appointments being provided at the Alconbury hub has just taken place. The clinic was fully booked and we were pleased that many of these appointments were used by our patients. Appointments at the hub can be booked via our reception team. You can request an out of hours appointment if this is more convenient, alternatively you might find that we offer you an out of hours appointment if we are unable to offer you an appointment at the practice due to the pressures of demand.

General Practice nationally is facing unprecedented pressures, these are not always being well reported to patients via the media. Unfortunately we are no exception to this current situation. Our Local Medical Committee has put together a helpful document to help patients understand what is happening in the local area. Thursday 29th December – open as usual
Friday 30th December – open as usual
Saturday 31st December – New Year’s Eve – Closed

Monday 2nd January – Bank Holiday – Closed
Tuesday 3rd January – open as usual
During this period, please submit your repeat prescription requests in plenty of time and remember to allow at least two working days for your request to be processed.
